American Water employees make it a “Day On” for Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service 2024
American Water employees across our national footprint participated in 22 different Martin Luther King Jr. Day service events this year, including charity walks, blood donations, and food and coat drives. The day provided an opportunity for our team members to engage in meaningful service activities, many of whom took the lead in organizing or participating in the events.
American Water recognizes Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a company holiday and encourages employees to honor Dr. King's legacy through service and commitment to their communities.
