The American Water Charitable Foundation and Missouri American Water awarded The Little Bit Foundation with a State Strategic Impact Grant.
“The American Water Charitable Foundation is pleased to partner with organizations that enrich and strengthen communities served by Missouri American Water,” said Carrie Williams, president of the American Water Charitable Foundation. “Funding for The Little Bit Foundation will support the organization’s mission of breaking down barriers to learning for students living in poverty.”
Missouri American Water recently presented The Little Bit Foundation with a $10,000 donation on behalf of the American Water Charitable Foundation. The Little Bit Foundation serves 14,000 students across the St. Louis region by providing food, bookbags, school supplies, and resources to help the whole child.
“So many underprivileged children in our region benefit from theincredible work of the Little Bit Foundation, and our employees were eager to help after the flooding of their warehouse,” said Missouri American Water president Rich Svindland. “We are thrilled to be able to leverage the support of the American Water Charitable Foundation to continue to help the organization recover and rebuild.”
